A Legacy of Brilliance

Brilliant is a Houston-based non-profit organization founded ten years ago dedicated to educate, inspire and increase public awareness within our community by providing a forum for education, entertainment and inspiration with national and international leaders, role models, philanthropists, performing artists, humanitarians, and other prominent members of our society. Founded in 2005, Brilliant is a spoken word and performing arts presenter of the highest caliber with a decade long history of outstanding cultural programming.

Brilliant has presented the most extraordinary programming to the Houston and Texas region with a broad set of productions for an audience reaching nearly 100,000. From Queen Noor to Sidney Poitier, from President Gorbachev to George Clooney for spoken word programs. From performances with Betty Buckley to Texas Tenors. From productions of Marilyn Forever Blonde to Potted Potter to a tribute to Michael Jackson. Brilliant is a uniquely diverse organization presenting touring plays, musicals, concerts and lecture programs. We have initiated successful ongoing collaborations, fostering meaningful relationships with our patrons and community members from all walks of life in our large and diverse city. As part of Brilliant’s educational mission, reduced fees are often available for students, teachers, and other community groups.

Brilliant is committed to stimulating learning and cultural awareness by presenting the highest level of artistic quality and offering an even more diverse set of multi-disciplinary performances and conversations with the most celebrated figures from around the world in the arts, business, politics and science.
